How to get in contact

Where to turn if your rights have been violated

How can I get help?

It is important to know your rights and to know that you are the victim of a crime if your rights are taken away from you. Even if you do not know your rights, it is never your fault if someone abuses you or your rights.

On the other hand, demanding your rights from, for example, an authority is easier when you know that you have the right to help! It is also important to know where to go to get help. It is common for people to be afraid of asking the police or social services for help, as they do not known what will happen and they think that they have little understanding of the implication of the problems. It is partly true that the police and social services have limited knowledge of how to deal with issues concerned with honour-related violence and young people’s rights, but one of the goals of the project It’s About Love is to increase understanding and knowledge within the community’s many different authorities.
